The Curious Case
A case study competition where the ultimate goal is to seek the best business solution making realistic and verifiable assumptions. A case sets forth, in a factual manner, the events and organizational circumstances surrounding a particular managerial situation. Case study is the analysis of the given problem, done in a holistic manner by one or more methods. The Startup Showcase
eDc IIT-Delhi launches this year’s e-Summit with its flagship event ‘Startup Showcase’, with the theme being ‘Connecting the Dots’. The event will be held during the two day entrepreneurship conclave organised annually the IIT-Delhi. The aim of this event is to help young entrepreneurs showcase their start-up ventures before the right audience and get all the desired publicity to boost their before the right audience to pump up their nascent firm.
The event shall see a large number of professionals coming together providing the ideal networking platform consisting of mentors and venture capitalists that no budding entrepreneur can afford to miss; thus enduing them with a unique chance to showcase their products to large audiences and share ideas with already existing entrepreneurs. As a one- day event, the event shall have a number of presentations by the participants on new start-ups, ideas and skills involved with entrepreneurship, in an attempt to solicit the venture capitalists present in the audience. Rags to Riches | 10 K Challenge
1. All participants who want to participate in “Rags to Riches | 10 K Challenge” are required to attend the B-Plan and entrepreneurship development workshop on 4th March, 2012, following which they would be required to present their business ideas(starting amount 10K), in just 5 slides, on 4th March itself.
2. The Duration of the Workshop is 1 hour.
3. The Workshop will be delivered by Campus2day.
4. The 5 slides should briefly touch upon the following details – Market Analysis, Operational strategy, Financial strategy and feasibility, Marketing strategy, Risk and threats.
5. Please note that the business idea should be feasible with a starting amount of Rs. 10,000. The financial feasibility should be clearly demonstrated. Additional spread sheet (only 1) may be attached to prove the same.
6. Final teams will be shortlisted based on their entries in the preliminary round. The shortlisted teams would be required to prepare a 5 page document detailing their idea together with a brief presentation.
7.The final rounds would take place on 5th March, 2012 at IIT Delhi Campus.
8. The winning team at IIT Delhi would be given an offer to work with Campus2day together with Cash Prizes.
