The aim of this workshop is to familiarize the participants about the need for understanding finance domain paradigms in order to help them gain the necessary knowledge to support their business model. The workshop will introduce the structure of start-up finance, including the importance of bank lending, venture capital, angel investors, and owner equity. This would be an ideal opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn the fundamentals of financial planning to assist their business models thus helping them to actually materialize their idea. Such exposure at a very nascent stage will provide them with real time feedback about the various bugs and shortcoming in their present finance structure along with a prospective future growth chart which will be useful for credibility analysis. The event holds great promise for aspiring entrepreneurs.

- Psychological impact of understanding Entrepreneurial finance.
- Financial Statements – Balance Sheet, P/L Account, Cash Flow.
- Sources of Finance.
- Ratios & DuPont Model.
- Understanding about CAPEX and Working Capital
About the Speaker:
Speaker : Rahul Jain
Rahul Jain is an MBA from MDI Gurgaon and is a Fellow Company secretary. He is an Entrepreneur himself and Director in – Sundeep Global Ltd and SKI Ltd. His Entrepreneurship interests lies in Education domain.
He is a Mentor to IIM Ahemdabad (Incubation centre- CIIE) and also a visiting faculty for various Institutions. He has written numerous research papers and articles. He is an expert trainer on Strategy and Entrepreneurship by using Simulations and Innovative learning pedagogues and has already authored more than 50 e-books.
